Anyone have feedback on Beretta's 92/96 .22 conversion kit?

As the title says, does anyone have feedback on the .22 "Practice Kit" Beretta sells? I'm looking into the possibility of buying a 96 of some flavor and like the idea of a factory conversion for MOA practice without spending too much on ammo. How's the quality, fit and finish? Does the kit fit the 96FS?

(Beretta's website doesn't go into detail about fitment to the 96 series, and I really prefer .40 cal to 9mm. Plus, being in the PRK, I can only have 10 rounds in there, so I won't miss 1 round of .40 compared to missing 5 of 9mm.) :)

Thanks in advance.

Go try a search. Skunkabilly bought one a few months ago & he really likes his. From what I recall, there are some other positive reviews for this conversion kit!

Quality, very good. Fit and finish. Fit = good, finish bad. I couldn't find one at the store that wasn't scratched in some way. They had at least 4 of them I looked at, all looked bad. I bought the least bad looking one figuring it'll look much worse by the time I'm through with it :D

I have light strikes with Federal and Winchester ammo with my competition 4# mainspring.

I like it because it's the same trigger and manual of arms, and lets you really FEEL and time your trigger reset which you can't when you dryfire.

I hate the sights and may replace it with a Novak rear for consistency.
