Hi folks, I'd appreciate any and all KNOWLEDGEABLE replies answering what reputable firm(s) do .45 Super conversions on Taurus 24/7 OSS .45 ACP pistols, or whether this conversion is even feasible. Thanks!

The 45 super requires a strong frame, a fully supported chamber, and higher rate springs. I don't know if the Taurus 24/7 series has a fully supported chamber, but being a polymer frame I doubt it has the integrity to handle that kind of abuse.

From reading the .45 Super info from Garey Hindman, President of Ace Custom 45s Inc., the "Home of the .45 Super," it appears that fully supported chambers are not required, and polymer frames are not necessarily too weak, as Glock conversions are available.

Well, then maybe Garey Hindman, President of Ace Custom 45s Inc., the "Home of the .45 Super," would be the best person to ask about a Taurus 24/7 OSS conversion then?
