My wife purchased me a Coronado Vest as one of my Christmas gifts. So far, I like it very much. My Airlite Ti or PM9 doesn't make it sag one bit. Does anyone else have one and have you been happy with it? Any negatives??
Thanks,
Will

Lucky you.... I had to purchase my own.:( I like it a lot, 'specially when riding the motorcycle; the vest carries all the usual pocket stuff, making those longer jaunts more comfortable. No more "wallet brick" under the cheek, and no more "key digs" to the thigh. I ballance the vest with a spare magazine opposite the piece.

I notice their integral holster is "universal". What will it actually accomodate comfortably?

So far I've carried my PM9 and some J-Frames. However, the hidden inside pockets are large and a larger pistol would just slip right in.

I have one of their jackets, and you can custom order them with different internal holsters. I don't know what the story on the vest is.

Extremely happy with my jacket, but haven't tried a vest.
I just looked at one of the concealment vests online and it has the same elastic holster system as my Americana jacket:

In the couple of years I've had my jacket I've carried a BHP, a CZ-75B and various smaller guns like a 442. The bigger guns do require a couple of loaded mags in the offside holster pocket to keep me balanced. It'll hold my Kimber Gold Match, but the adjustable sights snag a little.
Nice present.

P.S. - The only downside: I did notice that during the first couple of weeks people wanted to try it on or just check out the leather and such. Might be better not to have a gun in it until they get over the "Oooh, let me see your new vest" stage.

Being in Kentucky, the temp doesn't get too cold. (Except those "rare times".) I'm finding that a flannel shirt and the Coronado Lapel vest is all I need so far this winter. As a matter of fact, the vest is a little too warm in a restaurant. However, I find that if I have to take the vest off, the "snap" pocket on either side where the conceatment straps are located stays well hidden. Nobody asks..."What are THOSE pockets for"? It doesn't even look like the pockets are there when they're snapped.
Anoter interesting thing I've discovered is that the outside pockets are lined with soft pig-skin. A Jetfire or Seecamp wouldn't fall out. (Unless you shook it out.) Plus, there's a zipper closed, lower inside pocket for a spare magazine and a "no-snap or zip" deep pen (or knife) pocket. I like this vest SO much, I'm going to order the "Western" model also. Nice!
