This is a homework question for a Criminal Procedure Class I am taking. This pertains to Federal law/Federal Cases.

On May 29, Sheriff Parker told ATF Agent Stringer that he believed that Doyle Hall illegally possessed a firearm. Parker told Stringer that he had received the information from one of his deputies who had been told by a reliable confidential informant who had been used several times before that the informant had seen a rifle in Hall's home two days before. Stringer through other sources discovered that Hall was a convicted felon, and that 90% of the firearms made in the United States were not made in Texas where Hall lived. Stringer decided that it was probable that the rifle was not made in Texas and that Hall as a convicted felon was in violation of Federal laws.

The question is: Is there probable cause for issuance of a warrant? Please Explain

NOTE: This is an undergraduate course.

Are you asking us to do your homework for you or do you have some more specific question or issue?

Not really on topic here, sorry. If anyone wants to PM the OP with the answer that's fine.
Good luck in your class!
