Does the Remington Model Nylon 76 use special scope mounts? If not what do I need for it. I am asking this for a coworker.

The receiver (actually receiver cover) is grooved for standard .22 mounts, IIRC.

I've never owned a 76 (but boy is that one on my wish list), but I assume it's the same as my 66. The reciever is grooved for standard rimfire dovetail scopes. I've got a Tasco 2-7X on mine and it will outshoot 90% of the 22 rifles I've run into.
