I thought you guys might be interested in this. I haven't been around the forums in a long time, so I'm sorry if this has been posted before. It looks interesting, but unwieldy.

Unwieldy is an understatement. It's a 2x4 with a pistol grip, bipod & scope.

Gale McMillan had a really cool bullpup stock for the M-14 that he made for the FBI but the deal didn't go through.
He was going to send me one he said he might still have had... but he fell ill before he could look for it.
I've only seen pictures of it, but it looked awesome.
Looking nothing like that POS up there. That thing is aweful.

The M1A is such an attractive rifle. Why would somebody do that to one. :(

Back in the early '90s the old AWCS company out in Arizona built somewhat less then 100 bullpup M-14/M1As on spec to try to sell to the Army as the spotter-carried weapon on the sniper team. For a ~$2000 they would build one up on a customer supplied rifle. Called it the G1 in semi and G3 in full auto I think. Pretty neat package. Full sized M1A with an over all length of less the 35". If I was near where mine is stored and had a digital camera, I'd try to post a pic. :D
