I have learned through searches that the pants run slightly larger and do not shrink in the drier. What I cannot find is thier warranty information (several people have said that thiers were replaced after 1 year of use because of tears or holes). I thought I had 2 questions but with all the distractions here I cannot remember.... so Ill be back:rolleyes:

Just buy a pair and try them out. I've got a pair of 5.11 pants and I love them. My cousin has a pair of long and short ones. Good pants otherwise you wouldnt hear about them.

Phoenix, I have one longsleeve shirt I use as a beater shirt.
It's more like a light bdu jacket. It's a heavy cotton shirt which is a catch 22. It's too heavy to wear in hot weather, but it's cotton so sucks when it's wet. The pen pockets on the sleeve are cool but may interfere with pack straps and slings.
I like the roll up sleeves and large map pockets which can be used as extra cargo pockets--you can toss a set of binos or your shooting gloves in there--They are HUGE.
I don't think it's a matter of pants running large (all pants run large for me because I don't like shopping in the kid's section :D ) but the elastic band makes it stretchy so the pants are stretching out when normal pants stay put. This is handy if you OWB sometimes and IWB sometimes and don't want to redo your whole wardrobe 2" large just so you can IWB.

I have one of the long sleeve shirts also, and like the Skunky one said, they are nice, but are a tad bit thick for my taste in shirts. The pockets are large, and I don't care for the flap on the back.
