Can I fix this, or time for a gunsmith?

My Taurus raging .44 has taken to locking up during double action. Looking into its guts I can see that the double action sear is locking up against the trigger preventing firing. It won't happen every time but let's say 2 out of 6. Single action still works fine, I have been dry firing away but can't work through this. So the question is can I fix this myself, or should I just send it in?

Lifetime Warranty.
Send it back to Taurus.
You go messing with it, you void the warranty.

Well crap happens. I have had a good experience so far with Taurus CS it took 13 days to get my PT92 back. So I'm hopeful so far.
