Beretta 92 Compacts...

Anybody here had any significant experience with one of these? I ran across an 80's vintage 92 compact at a local gunshop- nice blue, graceful trigger guard from the days before we thought we had to have a finger-hook on everything.

I generally won't have a 92/96 unless it's a G model, but this one is tempting me sorely. The full-size and Centurion variants are stone reliable, but I've not heard much on the compacts.

I didn't realize they had been making them that ling... I thought they came out around 95-ish? :confused:
