.357 Hunting Rigs

Should be getting my permit soon and would love to see some of the .357's you guys use for hunting.

I love it. That gun may be my first purchase. Is that a 4 or 6 inch barrel?

Usually loaded with handloaded 180gr XTP's going bout 1400 fps.

I have successfully deer hunted with my 6" Colt King Cobra. A side holster is cumbersome with the longer barrel. I use a cheapo Uncle Mikes shoulder holster when hunting.

As a kid I hunted deer with a python and was successful (50 shots 15 yrds offhand)

When I moved to Texas I decided longer barrels were in order so I went to 8 3/8" pre-27's

I later decided that the 357 Maximum or Supermag was a better choice.
