Has anyone tried the Timney trigger in this model or, the model 527? Thanks! :)

While I haven't used a Timney in that model, all the Timneys that I have installed and used are extremely nice triggers. That's why I keep replacing factory triggers with Timneys.

Honestly, if you understand how the different factory trigger screws work, you can adjust the factory trigger to be very crisp and very light, under a pound for the regular mode and under half pound in set mode. This isn't to take anything away from the Timney, but more to say that the factory CZ adjustable set trigger is one of the very best factory triggers out there today.

Sorry to bust your thread. I just this aftn replaced with a Timney trigger on my 788 Remington, this model was discontinued many years ago. The original trig had been taken apart, just a lousy job, trig was horrible to say the least. Well, the 788 has the trig set at 38 oz's, a beautiful trigger if ever there was one. Yes they are good, mine was $120 and change, but what a change, buy one, you won't regret!
