Hey yall. I always see posts with the 8 shot Mossberg 500/590's, and just figured the standard Model 500 configuration needs some attention, as it is the most basic model of Mossbergs line. Preferably pics of home defense/riot models, but in general the 5+1 Mossberg. I believe it offers the best compromise in overall utility and balance. Thanks!

That's my little beast. Basic 500 combo gun, with an 18.5" rifle sighted barrel. Comes up to the shoulder with the sights all lined up for me. Pretty nice buckshot patterns at indoor ranges, and amazingly accurate out at 50 yards or more with slugs. And it looks like a hunting gun, not some tacticool murder weapon.
