Interesting story about Ugandan civilians being given guns to fight rebels who are targeting civilians for rape, murder and forced conscription. However, leave it to the BBC to spin self-defense as bad and have "concerns" over civilians with weapons leading to "greater violence." Maybe they mean all the dead rebels that result from this (as opposed to dead civilians)? :rolleyes:

They've got good coverage of foreign affairs - and they did decades before 9-11. Sure they're biased, but we're supposed to be intelligent consumers of information here. Check things out for yourself from other sources.
