S&W K22 Manufactured Date

I have just aquired a pristine S&W K22 (Model 17) Revolver and have been unable to determine it's date of manufacture. It's s/n is 5K9XXX. Could one of our astute members look up it's "born date" for me . Thank you. :)

I don't know how astute I am but it looks like 1974.

This is what I found..."5K6,617 – 5K73,962.....1973".
