In 1953 my dad bought a Winchester .22 rifle for me and he taught me how to handle a gun and shoot accurately. I still have the gun and would like to know if anyone out there could hazard a guess as to its monetary value today.

Not without you telling us what model it is, and the condition it is in.

Winchester made a lot of different model's of .22 rifles in 1953.

And condition can effect value by several hundred percent.
