I want a 642 without the internal lock so the only way is to buy a regular version and put this grip on.

Be aware that their primary business is filling orders from major firearms companies. Therefore getting delivery of a single pair of stocks may (or may not) take some time. You might have better luck contacting S&W direct.

S&W supplies the gun itself but TALO does the rest and then distributes them through thier wholesalers. Guessing the contract for the grips is probably exclusive to TALO. I do know they do occasionally auction an extra pair or two on eBay. (you always buy a couple extras).

Just bought a "Talo" edition 686+. After 100 rounds and a pint of blood I bought a pair of target grips from Ahrend. Perfect combination.
