In general, if you have used both which were you more pleased with? Thanks! :)

Float Pilot February 14, 2011, 09:52 PM I own both. The old Timneys were very nice and the Rifle Basix is just as good. I had very, very good customer service from Rifle Basix. he asked if I wanted them pre-set and I said OK... They came set for a perfect 2.5 pounds. TonyAngel February 14, 2011, 10:30 PM I don't have a Rifle Basix, but I do have a Timney and can make a few observations. The first is that the trigger is WIDE. It totally screwed me up. I had to take 1/32" off of each side to narrow it down some. The second is that I always seem to be messing with it. Every second or third range trip, which translates into every 250 to 350 rounds, I have to readjust the trigger because it always seems to develop some creep. I've also found the pull weight to be rather inconsistent. My next trigger is going to be a Jewell, at which point the Timney will be moved to my .223, which is just a field humpin' rifle.
