Over the years we have lost some members. Its not a secret that we have a huge amount of older folks here as well as people that go through trajeties in life. We should almost have a sticky at the top with the names of the people we have lost. In their memory. I have made a lot of friends over the years on here. With over 6000 post its hard not too. Same time its sad when we loose members. Recently we have lost 2 members Senior and IRONBULL. Im sure if we did searches we can find at least a dozen or so more. I do recall more. These were important people not only here but in society in general. They will all be missed in the gun community as well in life. A sticky in the General topics at the top Memorial Wall

I like the idea.

We have something similar at my church and at the church where I grew up.

I think that'd be awesome. I'm guessing it'd have to be a sticky, which makes me worry because once something is stickied it generally becomes invisible, but maybe there's another way to do it.

I'd suggest instead that the status of the member be changed to indicate they had been a member in good standing and had passed. Their posts live on and are their memorial, but it would be good to know they'd stopped posting for natural reasons.

I think a combination of both measures would be nice... The memorial wall sticky for those that knew the members to reminisce and the member status so that people know and are aware.

I like the idea, provided it can be done right. A link to the deceased member's posts should be included.
