Does anyone know that if the end of the kel-tec sub 2000 rifle has enough barrel space at the end of the barrel so that it might be treaded for a silenced? I haven't actually seen the sub 2000 in person, just pictures on the web. Was just wondering if anyone has heard or seen of this done before.

Before anyone asks, yes I have a legally registered suppressor for 9mm. Having my Sig, Glock, and Beretta already set up, was just wanting a new set-up for the can.

Any comments on the Sub2000 rifle would be useful.

Thanks in advance from anyone that knows any information on this.

Highpower1,

There is slightly less than 1/4" between the muzzel and the front sight base. The front sight acts as the lock for the barrel when folded so moving back won't work if you plan to keep the original fold up intent.
It could be moved back though.
Barrel OD is .525

You could also remove some of the bottom of the front sight to get an extra 1/4".

Thank you for the info. Hopefully, I will get to check out the sub2000 this weekend. Again, thanks for your help
