Beretta 70S question

I apologize if this is considered poor netiquette, but I'm thinking alot of people may read this forum but not the Gunsmithing one.

These are the dimensions from my "New Puma" which it is my understanding is 70s with the s= alloy frame. Dimensions: OAL = 2.690", rod dia = .215", cap = .348", cap thickness = .064". Looks like a 20d common nail cut to length.
