Only kicker is it's a combo edge! I hate combo edges, but at 80 bucks plus free shipping this is a very good deal. D2 steel, full steel liners, beefy blade. I've raved about mine here, if you want to get into a good quality BM and don't mine the combo edge then here it is!

I paid almost that much for my regular griptillian, that is a smoking deal. I have the combo blade and I actually like it. I normally dislike serrated edges, but it works for me... I solved the problem by buying a second one without the combo edge. I will say that in the 154 steel, that is one of my sharpest knives... it takes an edge and doesn't "let go". I can only imagine what it would be like in D2....

If all of my post doesn't make sense... I am a little tired, just finished writing a report for my business communication class and I am a little sleepy, but of course, not too sleepy to take a quick look at THR before I turn in.

Does this have the locking switch or whatever you call it? I guess I'll find out in a few days since you induced me to order one.

It's got the axis lock, just a really neat lock type, very strong, and very user friendly. If this is your first BM, I think you'll like it.

Just to be aware, this is the mini not the full size. It has a 2.95 inch blade.

Well technically it's not my first BM. I snagged a balisong last year. Almost bought an assisted opening BM at the last gun show but during my momentary hesitation someone else snatched it up. So I ended up with an Al Mar Wor Tac instead. Things happen for a reason.
