I have a Lyman S-T turret press, and it doesn't have a primer catcher. i was debating about just making one, but I need ideas/pictures. If anyone has this press, or one similar, please let me know what you did for a primer catcher.
I can't deal with spilling primers all over the stinkin floor all day long, especially now that my new press has a primer catcher.
Here is a pic of it.

I use the catcher which came with my SparT. It "grips" the stem of the press just below the attachment point for the primer arm.

Probably could improvise one if you are crafty, but a bed sheet spread on the floor beneath the press is probably simpler and also works well to catch the crap.

Wonder if the primer catcher (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=708809) for the crusher and t-mag would work?
I have one on my old t-mag -- looks like the picture in the post above, but in black.

I was debating about making my own out of kydex. I have a few square feet of it lying around, but if a new catcher like that is ~$10, I might just buy one.
LeeRoder, would you ming measuring the inside dimension of where it goes around the press body?

Call Lyman, they may well send you one for free.

bloominonion, the opening is horseshoe shaped, with a narrow entrance measuring approximately 1.4" across widening to 1.5". It shoves onto the press OK.

I was told that catcher for the current press will work. Of course this was after I spent too much for an original one on ebay

It's an old press. I'd make a catcher out of a margarine tub and duct tape.

I will make one out of kydex if the dimensions don't match up. I have some extra floating around from making some CCW holsters.
