Just picked this Ruger LCR up, its a March 2010 edition, supposedly it hasn't been shot much, there is an obvious groove around the cylinder, you can feel it but just barely. Is this a concern? (See Picture)

If it hasn't been shot much, it has been dry fired quite a bit. The ring doesn't particularly hurt anything but it is caused by the cylinder passing/turning over the cylinder stop repeatedly.

I wouldn't worry about it much, my lcr had a ring on the cylinder after the first range trip.

This drag mark or turn mark can be found on all revolvers. Its where the bolt drags along the cylinder between engagement in the lock notches. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the replies....I don't have a whole lot invested in this piece...
but compared to the brand new one I bought for my mother-in-law it does show quite a bit more wear....but that's all I have to to compare with...So I just wanted to see what yall thought. I mean if this factory defect I will send it back.....I hope not.....Its for my wife so I need it to be dependable for a Long time
