Just got done putting 400 rounds through this gun.

We fired USA Ammo reloads 115gr, Ultramax reloads 128gr and Remington UMC 115gr with three total FTLs.

MY question is this a high failure rate? Will it get better as the gun breaks in?
I do plan on making this my carry piece but I am considering just getting a revolver to carry instead and keeping this as a range piece.

Try adjusting the feed lips on the mag. Mine shoots just fine for the most part, every few mags I have a jam, but for what I paid for it, not bad.. Good luck with making it your carry weapon. I would use something else a little lighter.

Mine hates 115 gr ammo.
I get 3-4 FTLs per mag.

Try 124 gr & see if that helps.
Mine's flawless with 124 gr ammo.

I've tried Winchester, Fiocchi, Remington & 115 just doesn't work.

I've tried my own reloads, Fiocchi, Remington, RWS, & a box of remanufactured - all 124/125 gr
No problems at all.

Stay safe my friends

I have to say I'm impressed with the gun. I have a 995 and its very reliable and fun. I fired the ops gun (I was with him today) and it gets very tight groupings, the trigger is a tad heavy but the heavy slide absorbs the recoil and makes for a great shooting weapon.

I can see why folks defend these guns. The bang for the buck is insane.

Thanks for the feedback.

For a 160 dollar gun I am really quite happy with the consistency.

It shoots straight.
It is indestructible.
Best warranty in the business.

So ugly only its mother could love it.

Forget all the naysayers. Love your C9. Shoot the hell out of it.
