I'm looking for a place to shoot in the Bowling Green/Toledo area. I checked Yahoo yellow pages and the nearest range I could find is about an hour away. I would think there's a range in Toledo considering it's a big city but no dice.

Try www.google.com and search, [Ohio gun ranges]. Or, maybe a local gun store can recommend a range. Unfortunately, many are private.

UT,

The best place is Adams Conservation Club. Membership is required, and there is a waiting list. Membership requires sponsorship by a current member (me :-)) and @ $120. There are three outdoor pistol ranges, an archery range, trap/skeet range, 50-200yd rifle range, and a small pond with areas for bbq's and fishing.

The closest indoor range is ancient, poorly ventilated, and very small. Ammo is expensive, and fees are, I believe, $7.50/ half hour. It is Cleland's Gun Shop. They aren't really competitors, as they specialize in hunting equipment, and their prices are a bit high.

I hope this helps.

Be well!

Defiance County Fish and Game. - About 20+ acres of trails to walk. Indoor pistol range, archery range, and rifle range. Large pond. Club house. - Closed if rented for social events.

Williams County Fish and game. - 25+ acres of trails. Indoor pistol range, rifle range. Small lake area. - Closed durring team shoots.

Paulding County Fish and game. - Rifle range, open area. Large pond. - Closed durring police qualifications.

All require a membership ($15-$30 per year). All are low traffic except, durring hunting season.:cuss: :D

There is a real nice indoor range being built in Holiday City (just south of I-80, Montpelier exit).
