I had an incident recently regards "prohibited use of weapon" & "obstructing an officer."

Absolutely disgusting, if one was aware of the circumtances .... I will poswt afterwards the whole thing is finally resolved.

Cost ~$2800 in legal fees to "get to" plead to the "obstruction of" + 24 hrs community service, & a permanet class-2 misdomeanor.

"Evidence," = my Hi-Power has just been returned, the CBI records are all re-newed, & I'm all "clean again" to buy anything through NICS - agaiin.

Only took 6 + months to resolve for something I never did.

CCW licsense has been pulled & that's next on the list .... to re-instate.

Nope, not me, Langenator.

Never something so inane, or innocuous. Besides, I don't pee on the sidewalk when I can pee on something else .... oh, nevermind! ;)

My case only received local notariety. :barf: , & even if that.

(So much for investigative reporters, huh? - & the puff they could've had ... )

Anything I could have ever had positive regards the cops any longer have been dashed forever - & this the Sheriff's Dept.

Thanks, for nothing, pigs!

Your military-type-ilk disgust me to no end. & this from a former cop,

Your own, once held in high favor, have sullied me to yours forever.

& ya know what?

My last felony bust was taking down 8+ of my fellows for felony theft of gov't propert -= "weapons of mass distruction" - I 'd think you'd call it.

My previous felony bust was for another cop being "a bit more "studious" in his "aplication of force than was necessary."" The usuals call it "excessive force."

So much for cops .....

I wasn't very popular.

Thanks, cops.

After being one, seeing what you do, & still somehow setting that all aside, when jacked, as a mere citizen, for just caring about my neighor, you have managed to set every bit of what I once held true & that aside through your tactics, & have made me your enemy forever.

I will never trust a single one of you again.

Really!? You'd say that I'd ascribe my suspicions of you to all cops? while you'd ascribe the same thing to all the rest of us?

How daring! & how bold!

You think every one of us to be suspect until proven innocent - whereas, everthing contrary, according to the laws states otherwise.

How daring! How bold!

Y'all better get on the right side of the law - before it's too late for you & yours.

Better pick a side.

I used to want to be a cop years ago when I was growing up. I can't imagine I would be too popular in a typical police department either.

Assuming you were dealt with unjustly, you still have not made a case against all LEOs.

Knowing labgrade personally (but not yet being fully apprised on this incident), I'll say that the odds of him misstating the case are pretty much nil. This is as mellow a fellow as any of you will ever run into in your lives, folks.

As to "making a case against all LEO's", I'd say that experience is a very, very good teacher. If the majority of your encounters with any segment of society are negative, then that's going to influence how you approach future encounters. No getting around that, 'cause we're human.

Aww labgrade....hope you got it out of your system. It was a nice and bitter rant and I enjoyed it. Tasty. As a former leo who knows what you know, go back on cool mode now and remember the ones who are like you, not goblins with a badge. There are many.

labgrade, you have my regards and regrets. I'll take your word for your situation, okay?

That said, this can too easily turn into a cop-bashing thread, which is pointless.

When you're able and willing to tell the whole story, please feel free to do so. It could serve as a lesson to all of us.
