Can I put my G19 barrel and mag in my G27?
I put the barrel in my 27 today and it went together fine and the action worked fine when racking the slide. I havent shot it like that yet, I wanted to ask some opinions before I did to make sure things were ok.
If this works out good I could use the 19 barrel and buy some 26 mags to practice with 9mm in my ccw outfit.
I know they make conversion kits and such but I would like to avoid the extra cost if possible, thanks for your input guys.

While it will technically work, it is certainly not recommended. Factory 9mm barrels are smaller than .40 barrels. You need an aftermarket .40-9 conversion barrel for proper performance.

It will feed, fire and eject. It will not be accurate as the barrel is loose in the slide. It may also cause damage to the barrel as it slams up against the slide with each shot. Spend the $124 and get a conversion barrel.

The barrel is very slightly undersize, yeah. It will wiggle around a little. The result is the POI will be a little bit higher. But it will still be very accurate, from what I've seen. I am guessing the barrel pushes up when it fires, so the POI is different but repeatable. This won't damage your gun...IMO. And I don't offer any warranty. :)

I shot a few mags of 9mm through my G33 with my G19 barrel. Shots were all over the place compared to just the G33 barrel.

No. I bought a conversion barrel before I ever owned a 9mm Glock. I "saw" it on the internet, FWIW. The guy had posted pics of his targets. They were basically identical. But IIRC, he did it with a G22/17 and also with a G23/19. The shorter slide of the G27 could open up the spread.
