I bought one on sale for about $30 3-4 years ago. I certainly got my money’s worth out of it, but it was noisy and liked to walk around. Finally, the threaded center rod stripped out and the wing nut wouldn’t hold anymore. I tried taking it apart, intending to replace the rod. Not a good idea. The wires to the switch are pretty fragile. The spade connectors don’t come out. Almost total disassembly is required. Not worth the trouble. This is a disposable tumbler.
I ordered a Hornady M-2 from Natchez.

Like all that dust loaded with lead compounds all over everything? Or do you use it outside contaminating the yard the kids play in?
There's a reason it came with a lid.

If one uses informed research you will find the identical chinese manufactured item with an american brand for about twice the price. On a great number of items brand name means ZERO. Its great to buy American however it's very hard to do these days.

The sad truth in todays world.
One could buy a Berry's ot Cabelas made by Berry. All American made by American workers except for the motor.

The Cabelas / Berrys tumbler works great, I just bought my second one so I can have one dedicated to walnut and one to corn cob. The warranty is nice too, if you have problems just box it up and take it back. Cabelas will replace no questions asked if its in the first year or two.

I've had to delete a dozen or so off topic posts in this thread. The next OT poster in this thread gets a vacation...

I like my Dillon tumbler. It makes all others look like crap.

The 2 Lyman tumblers I've got work like a champ, just hum away until I jerk the plug.

I also had issues with my Harbor freight tumbler. I replaced the rod, the original is meteric and since then the thing has been workng great. It's even quieter than it was new.
