I like all of them :D

I always go to the most basic use in this situation: 1911 and SAR-48 :D

Hunting is Redhawk and Bolt gun, or lever

Varmints is .357 and .22

Birds or clays is shottie with .45 auto or .357

I always have my S&W 586 or M10 with my Winchester M94 30-30. THere is something about a good sixgun and lever action combo that just warms my insides.

Cowboy Preacher,

I would never have guessed that you were a revolver and lever man :D

I voted auto/auto. I just can't seem to get into revolvers. My favorites right now are my Vertec and SKS.

The short answer would be - yes. But I voted for wheel gun and auto. If I had to run out and defend the world against space invaders tonight, I'd be carrying my S&W 625 and FAL.

I've been Pistol(CZ 75B & S&W 910s)and either SKS or Winchester '94 .30-30, but am starting to get back into my S&W M/P .38 Special... tired of chasing brass:banghead:

I'm all of the above except a revolver man.

For some reason, no matter how hard I try, I cant get used to the way a revolver feels in my hand.

I'mma Auto/Shotgun/Bolt action/lever action kinda guy! :p

Auto/pump...

However if I had an AR15 I'd rather use it than my shotgun. At the moment I only prefer the shotgun because its easier to maipulate than my thompson, which weighs 14-15lbs loaded. My thompson and mossberg are my only longarms at the moment.

The AR/AK rifles certainly serve their purpose and I'd rather not be without an AR in the safe but in general, I prefer semi auto pistols and bolt action rifles.

90 percent or higher of the handguns I've owned have been semi auto pistols rather than revolvers and I've never owned a non-military semi auto centerfire rifle and have no plans to do so anytime soon.

I'm definitely an auto loader pistol, lever/bolt/pump kinda guy.

I own examples of all of the above. But semi-auto rifles and shotguns just don't hold the appeal of an auto loader pistol.

Smoke - the paradox.

Ok, *now* the results are looking more like I expected. For a minute there I was dumbfounded by the amount of people who *didn't* vote auto pistol/auto rifle.

S&W L-frame and US .30 M1.

The Garand: it's number one for a reason! :D

But I am still learning so who knows!:D

Hmm... the revolver/autorifle guys are using an M1, a FAL and a FAL. Wonder what the fourth one is using. The AR is conspicuously absent... Wonder what that says about us. Oh yeah, we like old ("obsolete") stuff. :D
