Been looking for a new hand cannon and decided on the CZ97B. I thought that I had ordered the polycoat finish but to my surprise (pleasant) it was the glossy blue. Took a while to get the factory grease off but now it is shinning bright. Great finish and fit. The ingraving is perfect on the slide. Only had time to shoot two mags but the twenty shots where a very good looking group. I am very impressed.

My only wish is to find a good holster that will not marr the finish. I read somewhere that leather can damage blue finish. and I certainly dont want a kydex or nylon job.

Had a good experience with this gun at the range - very substantial handgun. Had no failures in a few dozen rounds - seemed like a great value.

Some blued 97's are so pretty you could swim in the finish.......nice.
If you want a good 97 holster yell at me. I cant promise the finish will last forever, but Ill be nice to it. I promise...........:D

Shoot well.

Eric is the man for Cz holsters. On the CZ 97, I think you'll find 99% of those who've fired them and/or own them will agree that it's an incredible pistol. The only thing I want to change on mine is the sights, I plan on putting some of the "big-dot" variety on it as soon as I can, otherwise, the gun is good to go as shipped.

Congrats on the New CZ-97B. I was torn when purchasing mine between the polycoat and the deep blue. The blued model was absolutely beautiful, but went with the polycoat instead. Figured it would hold up better in Michigan's climate. I've owned it for about a year and have been completely satisfied.

I'll second HBE Leatherworks for holsters.

Congratulations on the blued 97. That's one heck of a good gun.
The triggers smooth out after a couple hundred rounds and just become sweet. Especially the single action break. Get some good quality ammo and that gun will make some startling tight groups.

You know my trigger is pretty sweet right now. If it gets better I will be SOOO spoiled!

I will check out the HBE stuff.
