Smith needed for Colt .22

Greetings,

My best friend and shooting buddy recently obtained a Colt .22 Woodsman Match from a relative as an heirloom. Problem is, for whatever reason, the relative that had given it to him, at one point, totally dissasembled the entire pistol. The pistol was made sometime in the 1930's. Can anyone recommend a good smith to put it back together and make sure it's up to snuff?

Thanks,
Ken

I'd give these people a call. At one time Colt used them as an over-flow for factory warranty work. They're GOOD.

I'd try giving Colt a call.

Good Luck...

I'd try giving Colt a call.

With all due respect, that would be about my last choice: Colt hasn't made .22 caliber pistols in a long, long time.

Greetings folks,

Thanks for the replies. I've given my friend the info for the place in Pa. He's also going to give Colt a call as well. It can't hurt. So, again, thanks for your time.

Ken
