New member, my first post. Seeking any information reguarding Weaver's G6 scope, or the "G" Series in general. Thank you for your time & expertise!

All I have found so far is that they aren't particularly valuable (I've seen auctions from $5-90) and that they were made in El Paso through the late 40's. They sold new for about $12.50 http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1948-weaver-ad-7-weaver-rifle-scopes

They are well made and if the optics are clear they should last a lifetime. I wouldn't mount it on anything bigger than a 22 magnum.
