As the tittle said. I received and installed my ROA Bisley hammer.

I apologize for the pic quality. My cell usually tales much better pictures.

This pistol has had an action job and I was worried how a different hammer would fit. I don't know how it David Clement does it but the hammer dropped in and fits better than the stock one. It also has a lighter, crisper pull. That is not my imagination.

I was also worried how the lower hammer would affect my grip...no issue. It is absolutely easier to cock and nicer to cock. This is a wonderful addition to my ROA shooter. I am extremely pleased. The workmanship on the hammer is, of course, just about perfect.

yeah...I'm going to retake the pictures and show how it looks from the back and top. Hammer was expensive $200.00 but I just don't care. I'm one of those people that has no debt either so this one of my vices.

This is the best thing I have done to my ROA as far as handling goes. I know there has been some controversy regarding the Bisley hammer and whether it is an improvement.

My experience with this pistol laves no question. In my opinion, this hammer rocks. It's easier to cock, more comfortable. The lower wider spur makes all the difference in the world.

I was worried that the hammer being lower would cause it to come back too far or too low and interfere with my hand on the grip. Nope, it's freakin' perfect and puts my hand right where it should be.

Yeah, I can see where you could say it's too expensive but it has not disappointed me in any way and I rate it well past what I was expecting.

No filing, no fitting....it went right in.

David Clements is like the smartest guy on earth with an ROA.

David Clements does really nice work. Your ROA looks great with the new hammer. You should put your new pictures in the ROA Club thread.

The wild part about this hammer is that I did not expect it to make such a big difference in the way it handled. Even switching to the Power Custom Colt SS billet gripframe, which David Clements fitted as well, did not make this big a difference.
It cocks easier, faster better...add any positive adjective you like. When at full cock it doesn't interfere with the web of my hand, which I was worried about.
Anyone can say what they want but not only can't I say anything negative about it. I can't figure what other words to express how positive I feel about it. It even looks great.
