...and here's my semiauto long guns.

(I was gonna do revolvers & bolt guns, too, but that'd be entirely too much work. Plus, I don't think I have the floorspace... :o )

Is that a Glock with a butt reduction, Tamara?

Tamara
January 26, 2003, 09:12 AM
Nope. The G29 and G30 are both wearing Agrip and the 29 looks funny because it has a G20 15-round mag in it with an A&G Grip Extender.

And also some rifles. This photo is a big old (some of these have gone, some new ones have arrived) but it's my only mass-rifle photo.

Not to throw a wet blanket on the party, but doesn't anyone worry about those with less than sterling qualities accessing this site and finding out just who has what. I was thinking not so much about the run of the mill BG, rather I would be more concerned with Big Brother.

Just a thought.

Nah. I already have a fair number of de facto registered guns, and I don't plan to surrender any of them, much less non-papered ones. So if Big Brother comes calling, it won't make a difference what he knows I have.

Not a bit.

First they should be afraid of ME as a citizen, not me of them.

Second, that is just a small taste of a rather massive collection.

Third, I'm so legal it ain't even funny.

Fourth, I know most of the guys at Big Brother, Inc. and they know not to even think about trying it. :D

Woot!

I've got major wood. :D Thanks for running your pistols through a paint program to label them, Sactown. Would you post a range report on the the two long range rifles, top and bottom pics?

.50 or .338 and perhaps a .300 mag? Very fun, thanks for posting.

.45R... nice photography, and what a pistol! What model Kimber is it? And the finish? And those great grips?? I'm happy for you... no really! ;) Got any more pics to show?

Thanks for letting us peek into the gunsafe folks. Fun thread.

Braz and Skunk,

The Blaser and the Rem700PSS are both wonderfully accurate. Both are in .308. The Blaser runs one jagged hole at 100yds with handloads (not mine, the guy I bought it from gave me some of his loads). On the Remington I've gotten 1" groups with the cheapy UMC yellow box stuff, so I imagine it's much better with match grade. (haven't had time to try any other ammo, too many toys) On the Remington, I replaced the trigger (this is bad, I don't remember the brand) and it's got about a 1lb pull with no creep, it just breaks. I couldn't be happier with both rifles. I use them to punch paper and relax. (some guys hit golf balls, I'd rather shoot them!!)

The Blaser purchase was totally unplanned. I was perfectly happy with my Remington 700. Friend of a friend was moving back to Thailand and was looking to unload his guns. The Blaser had low mileage and he only shot his moly coated handloads through it.

As to siblings, they have a coupla sisters, Enfields, 10/22, mini-14, Savage 12BVSS, CZ .22 Magnum, and SKS. The SKS being the ugly stepchild.

SteyrAug, where do you live that you can own so many cool guns? Where can I get a plane ticket to there? Did you buy them all yourself or are they military issue?
