Tell me about the Uberti Cattleman

I've long wanted a 45 Colt clone and my research shows the Uberti to be a reasonabley priced option. How about some opinions based on real usage?
I just plan on plinking with it, no event use such as cowboy shooting.
TIA,
Kev

Bump.
The Uberti guns are fairly inexpensive and worth the money from all I've heard. It should be a fun shooter, but will probably be a little rough and oversprung to until it gets broken in.

I have a Cabella's Millenium which is made by Uberti. Seems ok to me.

Just prior to Ohio passing CCW, I was looking at Colt clones.
I pretty much settled on the US Firearms Rodeo. It's not as pretty as the Uberti but it felt better.
Reviews and comments on the US Firearms have been very positive. It might be worth looking into.

For non SASS use the Ubertis will last for years. The SASS use on mine means putting in a part now and then, and nre lighter springs....about 25.00 for springs.
MIne isns't bulls-eye accurate but will shoot pop cans real well. :)
The chamber mouths on mine are terribly oversized, but ca'nt say about later ones.Mines about six years old.
The Caberlas milleneum is a good stron gun, just not finished real purty like.
The one I handled definately needed a spring job.
The ones ordered in by Cimmaron Arm seem to have the nicest fit and finish,IMHO.

I would NOT even consider it. A great choice for a single action Colt-style clone would be the Great Western II from EMF. They need nothing to perform. Good to go right out of the box. I have not seen a Uberti ready to go out of the box yet.
