Well, its official, we are moving to Ames, IA. Thought I would see if anyone here had good advice on shops, ranges, etc. in the area. Is there a fairly active shooting community there?
A quick search shows that there are a few privately owned shooting ranges in the area. Are there any public ranges? Where I live now, I am able to shoot on my own property. I will miss that, but am hoping that I can use the change as an opportunity to get more involved in competition and organized shooting.
