Ruger LC9 as a pocket gun?

I am looking to get a carry gun to keep in my back pocket of my dress pants at work. Will the Lc9 be able to be concealed in a pocket holster, or is it a little too big.

Ps. I'm a fairly small guy, about 165 pounds.

Too big.

I can carry it in some bigger front pockets.

We sell the LC9 pistols where I work, and as for me personally, they are much too big for pocket carry. I think they would be great for IWB, but pocket carry, no.

Yep, I think post #3 summed it up nicely.

Way to big for back pocket.

I saw one for the first time today, and it was a lot bigger than I was expecting. I'd rather just get a little bit bigger and go with the sr9c (which is what I carry). It'd be a great summer IWB gun though based on my first impression.

The LC9 is bigger than the LCP but both work well in cargo shorts/pants. In regular shorts/pants, the LCP hides well.

The fact that the LC9 is a single-stack pistol makes it thin and therefore a good pocket gun.

I don't know is it's because I wear larger pants or what, but I carry the LC9 with the flat mag cap in all my denim pants (Rt front pocket) and it stays well hidden. I use the same nylon inside the pant holster that I used for my LCP and a nylon folding knife carrier for my second magazine. All are out of sight while wearing nothing but a T.:)

I carry my Kel-Tec PF-9 in my right hip pocket with some pants. It's too big for others. If you have pants with an inside pocket that's too short, you can lengthen the pocket to accommodate the longer pistol, but remember, also, you're carrying quite a bit heavier as well as larger pistol.

A bit too big for pants pocket. At least for me and my pockets.

Just bought one today.

Too big for pocket carry. Very concealable, but not what I'd consider a pocket gun.

I don't think I'd go bigger than a .380 for pocket carry.

Depends on your pockets.... For most of us it's not going to happen!
But as been said; a GREAT IWB.....or even an ankle holster.
