good price for used S&W 1911?

there is a local PA forum where a guy is offering a S&W 1911 model 108284 SS 1911 for $750. says its 90-95% cosmetic with only about 200 rds thru it. he is original owner and bought it 2.5 yrs ago. he live 90 min from me and i dont have wheels to see it.

does $750 seem like a fair price??

Very fair price, find some wheels - and go get it~! NIB S&W .45 ACP's
(#108282) go for $895 in my neck of the woods; and these are not "E"
series guns~!;) :D

S&W makes an excellent 1911, and that sounds like a good deal so I say go for it!

Bought my S&W 1911 in 2002, thousands of rounds and not one single failure of any kind, ever. The most reliable gun i ever bought. Terrific piece, but it with confidence.
