I have no idea what that reporter was talking about. From my peripheral view of observing websites and THR postings, I had the impression the MD pro-freedom community was all on board with opposing this POS legislation.

There was even some rumor of a fair-issue CCW bill being introduced.

OT: Would a back-scratch passage of a fair-issue CCW law be enough incentive for us to tolerate an accompanying semi-auto rifle ban? Would that be an acceptable "compromise" for MD folks? I know there should be no compromise, butthis is MD reality I'm talking about.:rolleyes:

IMHO, There are not enough votes to pass any Progun legislation in MD

Our main thrust is to "Cas Taylor" any anti RKBA legislators that pop up.

4 dedicated activists can make a candidate spend lots of rebuttal money.

They want to be re-elected

At the AWB fund raiser Monday, several of the attendies were told that the new law was to ban Uzis and AK47s

We explained what the functional difference was to a semi auto and how there was a federal ban on new Machine guns that was not sun setting.
