Just saw one in a local pawn shop and wondering about a proper offer to make. This pawnbroker will entertain a decent offer from time to time.

Most guys with a SiG take pretty good care of them, and they seem to hold value pairly well even when used. This is absolutely the WORST condition P226 I've ever seen - - LOTS of wear on the slide and zero finish left on the very dull frame. Didn't disassemble it, but it appears to be in good working condition. The wear patterns indicate that this is all holster wear - - No actual abuse visible.

If the 226 has no finish on the frame I would stay clear from this Sig. IIRC the anodizing on the soft Al adds to the rigidity to the structure of the frame. Without the finish your gun will be prone to bend over a period of time.

Another option is to buy the gun have someone do the hard anodizing for you.

It might be a good project gun. Offer him 300 bucks and see if he bites.

If you want a shooter call CDNN and order a PD trade in for 399 dollars.
