Hey all. I already have a 340pd, but my brother (Sportcat) was selling his 642. He bought it the same time I bought mine... and has since decided he did not like it and has bought a Glock. Anyway... he offered it to me for $400. I literlly has 20 rounds thru it (I put about 5 of those 20 thru) and he has taken GREAT care of it. I told him I would give him $300 for it and he told me ok. IF this had been a gun show I probably would not have bought it, but since I know him and know the SHORT history of the gun I feel pretty good about it. SO... was $300 a good deal? BTW, my wife now wants me to sell the 340pd. Any suggestions for an asking price on the 340pd?

JMHO ... and I am not amongst the resident S&W ''experts'' but .. that to me sounds like a spot on price ..... with (considering it's lack of use) .. a hint of ''great deal''. I guess at a show you may see $350 on it.
