Thanks, 1K..........but I need the actual bleed off hole diameter itself. Drill # would do fine. Anyway, I missed that thread & appreciate your direction to it.

30-06 should be 0.0790" plus or minus 0.0015"
.308 should be 0.1050" plus or minus 0.0015"

so basically

30-06 should be between 0.0775 - 0.0805
.308 should be between 0.1035 - 0.1065

per toni pucci, president of orion 7, taken from original springfield armory drawing numbers 6535448, and 1101457, respectively

and concurred and included in "The M1 Garand Owners Guide",
