Hey is there anyone who has or knows were to get a civilian version of a Tavor Tar 21 assault rifle I enjoy and have a few bullpup design style rifles and from what I can tell the tar seems to beone of the best, so anyone out there have information or news about a civilian version in the US. thanks

I don't believe a civilian version is available currently.

none produced in the USA as of yet, hopefully soon.

Here is one I got to carry around, play with and dump a few mags through. Its the standard tavor on wikipedia they call this model the ctar, it has a ta31 acog on it with arms quick release, 2 separate pod legs mount on preset locations, a surefire i gave the guy and he did some ghetto drill work like a few other guys in his unit to add a foregrip. Got a few more pictures and i think even a video somewhere of us shooting it full auto

You can get the gun from Marstar Canada (http://www.marstar.ca/index2.shtm) but they can't export it into the USA, even to a FFL dealer.

Why, I'm not sure but it probably has something to do with not enough American parts in it to qualify.
