I recently pulled out my old M45 Firestar (.45ACP) out of storage. I put a whole box of FMJ thru it until I stared to get a failure to fire consistently. There were no marks on the primers, and immediate action drills didn't fix the malfunction.
We tried the ammo thru a 1911 and if functioned as intended. When I got it home, I disassembled the slide, and discovered that the firing pin safety broke.
On the Diagram in the manual it's listed as part #36 (Code 343102120)
I can't seem to find any source for parts. Can anyone guide me. I would like to get it repaired.
