Just a quick note - I don't see this on the board....

Ohio's Legislators have passed (06/15/2011) and sent to the Governor a bill improving carrying a firearm (if you've got a license) in a vehicle, and permitting carry in a restaurant or bar.

You are NOT supposed to be drinking at all, and the facility can post against us, of course, but it beats having to drive to PA to eat safely.

It's about 99% certain the the Governor will sign this - effective in 90 days....

Sometimes you win! :D

Much credit to the OFCC and BFA groups, too! (I'm a member of both, and a Mod on the BFA board.)

Regards,

You beat me to it, Stu. Soon, Ohioans will be able to enjoy a good family meal without having to hide their sidearm in the car just like almost 40 other states do already.

Kudos to OFCC and BFA for their hard work (I'm a Coordinator & forum Mod at OFCC).

Law won't be in effect until 90 days after the Governor signs it.
