This subject came up in Mpayne's thread about his recent unemployment. A few people expressed interest in a THR get together and shoot.

Figured I"d start a thread and get things rolling.

I work afternoons and have weekends off. Up on the north end in Blaine, but can go anywhere to shoot, matters not to me. Usually go to Armored Fire.

I would be in. I make my own schedule, so with advance notice any time would work for me unless I have a hockey game (usually Monday nights).

Here is what I said in the other thread.

BPR is a nice cheap indoor place to shoot. 25 yards ranges, rentals, free usage off hearing and eye protection, you can bring your own ammo, targets, or buy there. http://www.bvpistol.com The price is $8 for one person with one gun, +$4 if you bring more than one gun, +$4 if you bring another person. Handgun calibers only, rifles in HG caliber is ok.

Wow, I didn't know BPR was that reasonably priced. Too dang far to go there regularly (I live in Elk River) but it'd be OK for a THR shoot. I work till 6pm Saturdays, so Saturday evening, Sunday, or any time Monday-Wednesday is best for me.

As soon as the weather warms up a little into the 40's , my local gun club would be available for a get together shoot.........it's open all year for members and when the weather gets into the high 30's and 40's, I am out there shooting......would be able to take 3 more shooters with me to the gun club....each member can bring 3 non-members....

Sounds fun. Weekends would be best, but I've got piles of vacation. I live outstate but work in the metro.

I'm in. My time is, well, pretty open. :)

I bought a 10-pack of sessions at Bill's, but don't love their attitude or high prices. I'd like to try the Burnsville range.

I belong to the Oakdale Gun Club, open all year round.......best time to shoot is during the week in the morning or early afternoon, hardly anyone there at this time of year.......there is a waiting list to join the club.....
