I'm looking for an IWB for my Kahr P9. I'm partial to kydex for IWB since sweat is not an issue. My top contenders right now are the Fist IWB in Ultra Thin Kydex and the Garrett Silent Thunder. The Ultra Thin looks amazingly concealable but I am concerned about durability. The Silent Thunder looks like a really well built holster with many of the features I want but has a somewhat thicker profile that the Fist. One of my main concerns is that I don't want to negate the light weight and thin profile of the P9 by wrapping it in a bulky holster.

Any recommendations?

You've listed some great choices. Most of my IWB's are Don Hume molded leather ones, and for $29 they're a great deal. I carry everything from a Ruger LCP to a Glock in one, but for my PM-9 I use their "Jit Slide" holster which resembles a Texas Yaqui.

The JIT looks like a good range holster. For CCW in the TX heat I prefer IWB for concelament. How is the retention of the JIT?

"How is the retention of the JIT? "

Never had any problems with retention. The only minor issue I've found is that with larger framed semi-autos like my lock 19, they seem to ride a little higher in the holster, but the smaller ones like the Kahr or LCP fit perfectly. I even carry my Ruger Vaquero Sheriff's model in one, and love it!
