I have to ask:
What are the little differently colored dot stickers for on new Rugers represent? I have asked and no one seems to know.
Thanks

I've always wondered that too. But have never trusted the guys behind the table at the gun show to know what they were talking about (at least at my local gun show anyway).

Dunno. Always figured they were some kind of inspectors mark.

They're delivery systems for nanotrackers. Once you buy the pistol and handle it, the sticker will, through your skin's pores, introduce a nanotracker into your bloodstream. This machine will then monitor your daily comings and goings, your habits, hobbies, your TV and reading preferences. This info is then relayed to Ruger's data collection center in Alamagordo NM where it is sorted and sifted and auctioned off to the highest bidding marketing operation. If you notice, you always get more junk mail and email after you purchase a Ruger.:D

i believe they are just a inspector sticker that basically shows the gun has been tested and inspected prior to being wrapped in the plastic and boxed.

Those dots are a attempt on the part of the Ruger design team to make the gun distinguishable from a brick.

You may be on to something SnWnMe. I have noticed a lot more junk mail since my last Ruger purchace. Typical mail box run yields:

50% advertizing for stuff I don't want.
20% credit card "pre-approvals".
20% bills
10% something I'm really interested in receiving.
