I have found a quality m76 made by AOW i know in the past the have had some minor problems but after speaking with them they seem to have all the kinks worked out. anyhow, not much of the above is terribly relivant so to the meat of the matter
i am quite familiar with psop reticle and able to use it quite effectivly however i am not so familiar with the zrav no-m26b scope; it only has one chevron, is there no good way to compensate for bullet drop on the fly like you can with psop scopes also how different is the 7.62x54r bullet drop in comparison to the 8mm mauser (in general) reason i want to know is to see if if i cant just use a russian style psop

They have very similar trajectories. I would think a POSP would be close enough for hits on man-sized targets with an M-76... though you would have to dope it at the range at various distances to figure out exactly how far off it is.

BTW with the ZRAK, you adjust for elevation with the turret. No, it is not as quick as having a chevron for each distance.

IOR-Valdada offers an excellent Dragunov type scope 4X24 that would work well on the M76 rifle.
I have one I use on a PTR-91 and it is the cats meow for that application.
You can google them up for more info & Brownells was selling these scopes too.

The IOR scope used a battery powered illuminated reticle which is quite nice.
