I'm new to Beretta pistols and have two quick questions for Beretta owners:

First question: My 92FS slide shows Made in Italy on one side and Beretta USA Corp. on the other so I'm not sure if this is a Italy or USA made pistol and why does it show both, USA and Italy:confused:
Second question: My son also has a 92FS Made in Italy with CD initial on the frame. Somebody told him it's the year of production but not sure what year?

The gun is Made in Italy but imported into the States through Beretta USA CORP. ACKK. MD that is why you have both markings. Like the Glock is Made in Austria but imported into the States through GLOCK INC., Smyrna, GA. and has both markings.

Now I do have an old Beretta .22 that only has Made in Italy without any importer markings.
